After having an interesting weekend full of drunken revelry, wheelchair fire-extinguisher fights, jazz and poetry in this small but active town, it is now monday - Martin Luther Kind Jr. day here in the states. And today I bought a fancy pen as per the suggestion of a montreal girl I met in San Francisco. It's not my typewriter, but hopefully it has some magic in it. Tonight, I'm going to a concert. Victor Wooten is playing down the street, and the tickets are ridiculously cheap, so I'll be there tonight. It should be cool as I hear he is a bass god. So I've met some interesting people here that I will have to describe later. I am surrounded by environmentalists and hippies of the most delightful variety. I've also met some cool people in 'my' classes - hehehe. So I'll keep sending word of my adventures in Oregon, and how this concert turns out.
