Well, despite my plan, I did not leave calgary today. I'm sleeping on a couch in a fraternity at the university of calgary, in exchange for doing the dishes - a task which none of them seem brave enough to handle. I went to sleep as the skies were clearing up; it seemed the rain was over. And when I woke up in the morning, I did not hear the rain outside, so I considered that a good sign. I climbed the stairs to find that three feet of snow had fallen in calgary overnight, and was continuing to fall at an incredible rate. And the temperature had dropped drastically as well. Simply stated, I would have risked death leaving today. So maybe tomorrow. :)
